A North Carolina native, Dr. Gordon attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree (BA, Psychology) as well as his medical degree. After graduating from college he was awarded a Governor’s Scholarship to attend medical school. In addition, while in medical school he was named a King’s Fund Scholar, affording him an opportunity to travel to London to study the National Health Service throughout Great Britain. It was that experience that helped shape Dr. Gordon’s current views on the delivery of healthcare. After medical school he completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center of Delaware (Christiana Care).

Dr. Gordon is a tireless advocate for quality healthcare for all of Delaware’s citizens. His practice clearly reflects his commitment to this philosophy. Brandywine Women’s Health Associates is the only private practice in the State to receive a grant to employ marketplace guides for the Affordable Care Act. It is also the only private practice to partner with the State (Healthy Women Healthy Babies) in its efforts to reduce infant mortality in high-risk populations. Dr. Gordon is a full active medical staff member at Christiana Care Hospital in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an associate professor at Jefferson Medical College.
